Cisco’s annual partner conference was held November 1-3 in San Francisco this year, where we were pleased to be awarded with the title “2016 Collaboration Cloud Partner of the Year” for the Americas region. Cisco selects partners in recognition of “innovative practices, leadership and outcome-focused programs as a Cisco business partner” and the awards reflect the top performing partners within specific technology markets. Recipients are selected by a group of Cisco Global Partner Organization and regional and theatre executives.
Cisco Partner Summit is attended by more than 2,100 global attendees from Cisco’s eco-system of partners representing more than 1000 companies worldwide from more than 75 countries. Among attendees from West were Randy McGraw, senior vice president of technology and operational services, Chuck Piazza, senior vice president of sales, and Rob Bellmar, executive vice president of business operations.
Accepting the recognition on behalf of West, Randy stated:
“We highly value our ongoing partnership with Cisco. Receiving this award demonstrates how that partnership aids in our ability to execute as a market leader in the cloud collaboration and unified communications space.”
In fact, the team at West has been hard at work expanding the Cisco partnership and cloud collaboration portfolio over 2016. Notable new services this year include:
A highly scalable addition to our suite of cloud contact center solutions, Cloud Contact CE includes Cisco HCS for Contact Center technology. It’s a robust multichannel contact center platform that’s ideal for large enterprises and companies with Cisco-centric environments. It pairs well with VoiceMaxx CE, our enterprise voice service which includes Cisco HCS.
Cisco Spark combines with VoiceMaxx CE to deliver Cisco Spark Hybrid, a complete business collaboration suite. While Spark provides a persistent virtual environment for one-to-one messaging, chat, content sharing, and audio, video and web meetings, the addition of VoiceMaxx CE extends voice and video calling capabilities along with call control and routing, calendar access and scheduling, and corporate directory services.
Looking toward 2017, Rob commented, “We are excited to work with Cisco relative to making collaboration services easier to consume for clients. With various Cisco initiatives around Spark and Spark Flex, West and our channel partner community have a lot to look forward to in the coming year.”
